Eurhythmics
The founder of eurhythmics, Émile Jaques Dalcroze, was a music educator in the 1800s who challenged traditional teaching methods. Using the body, movement and all of the human senses, a eurhythmic teacher, teaches music and music theory in an effective, empowering and fun way.
The eurytmic movment soon became significant in the world of dance and today it is used by educators in both music, dance and theater.
I grew up with modern dance in my childhood home and was surrounded by several strong eurhythmic teachers from an early age. This art form and didactic method is close to my heart, and for me is about everything from developing both musically and socially, to overcoming pressure, anxiety and other barriers.
I will come back with more information on this page so please come back later. Thank you for your interest!
